Dawn Davis Womack
Dawn took comedy classes in DC in 2016 to face her fears of doing stand up and got hired out of her graduation showcase. She's performed from east to west coast and opened for Lachlan Patterson in the annual Cave Comedy Fest featuring comedy shows inside a cave. She founded X2 Comedy now FWAF Show and hosts the Virginia is For Laughers podcast. Dawn brings a warmth, charm and “we are family” vibe to the stage with her lighthearted observational humor on her human experience. She performs solo and as a duo act with her husband, Chris.
Chris Womack
Chris is a James Madison University Kinesiology Professor who has been educating and entertaining students for 30+ years. Chris has performed in a wide variety of venues in the Shenandoah Valley & beyond on several FWAF Shows (formerly X2 Comedy) since 2021. He won a comedy competition Comic Genius show on YouTube and also performs in the annual Cave Comedy Fest featuring comedy shows inside a cave at Melrose Caverns. Chris exposes a witty comedic style paired with a dry sarcastic sense of observational humor. He performs solo and as a duo act with his wife, Dawn.

What the FWAF?! A FWAF Show is The Funny Womacks with their other talented comedian friends. Since 2018, FWAF (formerly X2 Comedy) has been consistently delivering hilarious clean-ish comedy shows featuring local, regional & national touring talent. FWAF's marquee events include our comedy series at Court Square Theater; the Annual Cave Comedy Fest at Melrose Caverns; our comedy classes with graduation showcase and now Uncorked Laughter: A Wine Class + Comedy Experience.
